I hand carved this Old World Santa from thick cottonwood bark from a fallen tree. The bark is natural with knotholes and cracks that I worked into the design. Each piece of bark is unique, and no two of my Santa carvings are ever alike. This carving is an original. It is dated and signed by me.
It is hand painted with acrylic paint and finished with my own antiquing technique.
This Santa carving is free standing and flat on the back. It is ready to display on a table, shelf or ready to hang on the wall.
All of my work is done with traditional hand carving tools and no power tools are used.
